ASA:
Autism Society of America
The mission of the Autism Society of America is to promote lifelong access
and opportunity for all individuals within the autism spectrum, and their
families, to be fully participating, included members of their community.
Education, advocacy at state and federal levels, active public awareness
and the promotion of research form the cornerstones of ASA's efforts to
carry forth its mission.
ASAT:
Association for Science in Autism Treatment
ASAT is a website committed to science as the most objective, time-tested,
and reliable approach to discerning between safe, effective, autism treatments,
and those that are harmful or ineffective. ASAT supports all scientifically
sound research on the prevention, treatment, and cure of autism, as well
as all treatments for autism that are shown to be effective through solid
scientific research, regardless of discipline or domain.

Autism Now Foundation
Cure Autism Now is an organization of parents, physicians, and researchers,
dedicated to promoting and funding research with direct clinical implications

A website dedicated to helping families who are living with the challenges
of autism stay informed about the studies in the genetics of autism. Provides
an overview of genetics in layman's terms.
MAAP
Services: More advanced individuals with autism, Asperger's syndrome,
and pervasive developmental disorder (PDD)
Maap Services, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing
information and advice to families of More advanced individuals with Autism,
Asperger's syndrome, and Pervasive developmental disorder (PDD). Maap
Services provides information about these disorders, support groups, treatment
facilities, and publishes a quarterly newsletter.
NAAR:
National Alliance for Autism Research
The National Alliance for Autism Research (NAAR) is the first organization
in the U.S. dedicated to funding and accelerating biomedical research
focusing on autism spectrum disorders.
